Overview:

ChartSnap acts as a bridge between MetaTrader 5 and AI models (like ChatGPT, Gemini, or DeepSeek), allowing traders to perform advanced technical analysis on any currency pair. It extracts both numerical and visual data from trading charts, which users can then manually send to any AI model for deep analysis.

Key Features & Workflow:

Data Extraction (JSON Files):

Extracts candlestick data (OHLC: Open, High, Low, Close) and indicators such as RSI, MACD, Moving Averages (20, 50, 200), Bollinger Bands, and Momentum.
Identifies candle patterns automatically (Doji, Hammer, etc.).
Users can choose the number of candles to extract (e.g., 50–200) and multiple timeframes (5m, 15m, 30m, 1h, 4h, 1D).
The data is saved as a JSON file, which the user manually uploads to the AI interface.

Chart Screenshot Capture:

Users select a specific chart area for screenshots; ChartSnap remembers this selection. The program remembers the selected area even if you close and reopen it, saving time and effort for the user and speeding up the analysis process.
Screenshots for multiple timeframes can be taken quickly with customizable keyboard shortcuts (e.g., F12 for screenshot, F11 to copy all images).
All images can be copied in bulk and manually sent to the AI model for visual analysis.

Automated Storage Management:

Captured images are stored in a folder.
Images can be automatically deleted after a user-defined period, or deleted manually (shortcut F10).

Manual AI Integration:

No direct integration exists between ChartSnap and AI models.
Users must manually upload the extracted JSON file and screenshots to the AI platform.

- Support/resistance analysis
- Trend analysis across timeframes
- Statistical and mathematical analysis (Fibonacci, probabilities)
